Who we are

Today Lehman Pipe caters primarily to plumbing, fire protection, mechanical and HVAC contractors, exporters, city, state and county municipalities and other governmental agencies. Lehman Pipe has grown it’s operation from a facility no more than 5,000 sq. ft, to over 100,000 sq. ft of inside warehouses and over 120,000 sq. ft of pipe yard. This growth was necessary in order to provide an outstanding level of service with prompt complete deliveries to the new and expanding markets. At Lehman Pipe and Plumbing Supply our inventory is kept in our modern facilities of 120,000 square feet. This allows us to provide outstanding service with prompt and complete deliveries, for all of our markets.

Founded in 1946 by Julian and Betty Lehman, Lehman Pipe and Supply began its journey as a humble hardware store distributor. It was a modest start, but the Lehman family’s dedication and vision laid the foundation for what would become a prominent name in the industry. In 1974, Dennis Lehman joined the company, injecting new energy and ambition. Recognizing opportunities in the market, Dennis spearheaded the transformation of the business into a comprehensive pipe, valve, and fitting wholesale distributor. This strategic shift marked the beginning of Lehman Pipe and Supply’s ascent to prominence. Over the next two decades, from 1980 to 2000, the company concentrated on serving local trades and municipalities, establishing a strong presence in its home territory. However, in 2000, Lehman Pipe and Supply embarked on an ambitious expansion beyond the borders of the Continental United States, venturing into Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. This move opened up new avenues for growth and positioned the company as a global player in the industry. In 2017, Lehman Pipe and Supply achieved another milestone with the construction of a state-of-the-art 100,000 sq/ft distribution center, complemented by a sprawling 6-acre outdoor pipe and storage yard. This facility proved to be a game-changer, propelling the company to even greater heights. Since then, Lehman Pipe and Supply has expanded its footprint with the establishment of two additional facilities in Florida and two more outside the Continental United States. Today, the company takes pride in its role as a preferred supplier to a diverse range of industries, including HVAC, Fire Protection, Plumbing, Municipal, and Industrial Contractors, serving over 13 vertical markets. With a rich history of innovation, dedication to quality, and commitment to customer satisfaction, Lehman Pipe and Supply continues to be a driving force in the industry, poised for continued success in the years to come.

August 2024: Partnered with Capital Partners, Rotunda, marking a significant milestone in our growth journey.

September 2024: Josh Aberman was named CEO bringing a renewed vision and leadership.

2025: Announced the opening of our new Orlando facility, featuring advanced fire sprinkler fabrication capabilities.
